Litlo Privacy Policy

Effective July 25, 2026

Litlo collects and uses the information needed to run your account, protect family care records, provide the features you choose, operate Community, process subscriptions, and keep the service secure.

Controller / operator: Taejun Park, operating as Litlo

Contact: support@litlo.app

Launch country: United States

Information we collect

Litlo collects information you provide, information created while you use the app, and limited technical information needed to keep the service working.

  • Account information, such as name, email address received from Apple or Google sign-in, sign-in provider, profile image, locale, terms acceptance, marketing consent, and plan status.
  • Baby and care-team information, such as baby name, birthday or age, avatar, caregiver invitations, caregiver role, current baby selection, and access history.
  • Care records, such as feeding, sleep, diaper, pump, memo, medication, temperature, bath, play, growth, symptom, diary, photo, widget, Siri, notification-related, and timeline records.
  • Voice-created records, such as device-provided transcript text, parsed care values, processing status, and error information. The current iOS app sends transcript text for Siri and voice-assisted logging; it does not upload a voice recording to Litlo.
  • AI chat information, such as chat messages, assistant responses, selected baby context, recent care-record context when you enable it, prompt metadata, feedback, and usage quota information.
  • Community content, such as posts, comments, nicknames, avatars, images, likes, saved posts, blocks, reports, moderation signals, and enforcement history.
  • Support and technical information, such as support messages, support images, device type, app version, diagnostic and request metadata, IP-derived security signals, account-security events, and push-notification delivery records.
  • Subscription and entitlement information, such as App Store product ID, transaction identifiers, subscription status, expiration, refund or revocation status, and App Store Server Notification processing results.

Litlo does not intentionally collect precise location, government ID numbers, payment-card numbers, or contacts. Payment-card details are handled by Apple, not directly by Litlo.

How we use information

Litlo uses information to:

  • create and secure accounts;
  • sync records across your devices and care team;
  • provide baby profiles, tracking, diary, photos, widgets, Siri-related flows, notifications, support, Community, AI features, and subscription entitlements;
  • personalize the app experience;
  • verify App Store purchases and subscription status;
  • moderate Community, handle reports and blocks, prevent abuse, and enforce the Terms;
  • debug errors, maintain reliability, and protect service security;
  • respond to support, safety, legal, and privacy requests; and
  • preserve limited records when needed for billing, refunds, tax, fraud prevention, disputes, security, or moderation.

Litlo does not sell personal information. Litlo does not use family care records for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. Litlo does not use family care records, baby records, diary content, photos, support messages, Community content, or AI chat content to train public AI models.

AI and external processing

When you use Litlo AI, your message and the baby care records you choose to include are sent to Google Gemini to generate a response. Litlo shows an in-app disclosure before the first AI Chat request. You can control whether recent baby care records are included in Profile > Litlo AI.

Litlo may also use Google Gemini to structure transcript text for a user-initiated voice or Siri logging feature. The current iOS app sends transcript text rather than a voice recording.

Litlo uses service providers for backend hosting, private object storage, AI processing, authentication, push delivery, and App Store purchase verification. These providers include Google for Gemini and Google sign-in, Apple for sign-in, push notifications, Siri and system features, and App Store services, and DigitalOcean Spaces-compatible storage for private media objects.

Litlo requires service providers to process information only for the services they provide to Litlo and to maintain protections consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable requirements.

Sharing

Litlo shares information only when needed to operate the service, when you choose to share it, or when required for safety, legal, billing, or security reasons:

  • with caregivers you invite to a baby profile;
  • with other Community users when you publish Community content;
  • with service providers that host and secure the service, process AI requests, store private media, send notifications, support users, moderate content, or verify subscriptions;
  • with Apple and Google when you use their sign-in, platform, AI, push, Siri, widget, Live Activity, or purchase services; and
  • with authorities, advisors, platform providers, or affected parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, users, or the service.

If Litlo is involved in a financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to this Privacy Policy or materially similar protections.

Children and baby information

Litlo is intended for parents, legal guardians, and authorized caregivers who have reached the age of majority where they live. It is not intended for children to use directly. Do not allow a child to create an account, post in Community, or provide personal information directly to Litlo.

Adults who add baby information represent that they have authority to manage and share it. If you believe a child has created an account or directly provided information without appropriate authorization, contact support@litlo.app.

Baby information may include sensitive care routines, photos, health-related notes, and family context. Litlo processes this information to provide the features selected by the adult account holder and shared care team. Additional U.S. disclosures appear in the Litlo U.S. Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice.

Photos, Siri, and sensitive records

Photos, transcript text, health-related notes, and baby care records can be sensitive. Litlo uses them for the features you choose, such as diary memories, tracking history, Siri-related logging, widgets, care-team sharing, AI processing, and support.

Siri, dictation, or other Apple system features may process speech or commands before Litlo receives resulting transcript text or App Intent data. You can manage device permissions in iOS Settings.

Only add information you are comfortable sharing with every caregiver who has access to the relevant baby profile.

Permissions and device features

Litlo may request access to notifications, selected photos, the camera, Siri, widgets, Live Activities, or other feature-specific system capabilities. Litlo does not request direct in-app microphone access for Siri logging. You can change permissions in iOS Settings, although a related feature may stop working.

Your choices and rights

You can update account details, manage baby profiles, change notification settings, control whether tracking records are included in AI Chat, remove content, leave care teams, delete baby profiles, or initiate account deletion in the app.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to confirm processing, access, correct, export, or delete information and to withdraw consent for optional processing. Contact support@litlo.app to make a privacy request. Litlo may verify your request, especially when it affects a baby profile, caregiver access, Community safety, billing, or another person.

Account deletion

You can initiate permanent account deletion from Profile > Account > Delete Account. The app explains whether the deletion also affects baby profiles owned by the account.

Litlo's current deletion flow is designed to delete or de-identify account data and associated private records, remove caregiver access, disable push tokens, remove public attribution, and initiate deletion of stored media. Limited records may remain when necessary for legal compliance, security, billing, tax, refunds, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, moderation, disputes, audit, or backup recovery.

Deleting a Litlo account does not cancel an App Store subscription. You must cancel a subscription separately through your Apple Account subscription settings.

Retention

Litlo keeps information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy or as required or permitted by law.

  • Active account and family-care data are retained while needed to provide the service and shared care-team features.
  • Account deletion initiates deletion or de-identification of account-related data.
  • Media deletion is initiated when the related account or content is deleted.
  • Backups and operational logs may retain data temporarily until normal rotation or deletion processes complete.
  • Security, moderation, billing, refund, fraud-prevention, tax, and dispute records may be retained as reasonably necessary for those purposes.

Litlo applies the shortest practical retention period consistent with service operation, legal duties, security, moderation, billing, and dispute handling.

Security and authorized access

Litlo uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. Access to personal information is limited to authorized personnel and contractors who need it to operate, secure, and support Litlo and who are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

No online service is completely secure. Use a secure sign-in method and invite caregivers carefully.

International processing

Litlo and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Litlo uses applicable contractual and operational safeguards where required.

Changes

Litlo may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. When changes are material, Litlo will provide notice in the app or request review of the updated policy.
