Litlo U.S. Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice

This Notice supplements the Litlo Privacy Policy for consumer health data processed in the United States.

Litlo is a parenting and lifestyle record service, not a healthcare provider or medical device. Some information that parents and caregivers choose to record may nevertheless be treated as consumer health data under U.S. state privacy laws.
This may include feeding, medication, temperature, symptom, growth, sleep, and other baby-care information.
Consumer health data Litlo may collect
- Feeding and pumping records, including timing, duration, type, side, and amount.
- Sleep records, including timing, duration, and user-entered sleep context.
- Diaper, bath, play, and routine records.
- Medication records, including user-entered name, amount, unit, and time.
- Temperature, symptom, growth, and other user-entered measurements or observations.
- Memos, diary entries, photos, and transcript text that may contain health or care information.
- AI Chat messages and selected recent care-record context when you choose to include it.
- Baby age or birthday and identifiers needed to associate records with the correct baby profile and care team.
Sources
Litlo receives consumer health data:
- directly from the adult account holder;
- from caregivers the account holder authorizes to use a shared baby profile;
- from user-initiated Siri, widget, or App Intent flows;
- from values created when Litlo structures, summarizes, or synchronizes a user-requested record; and
- from service providers acting for Litlo when they return the result of a user-requested operation.
Litlo does not obtain medical records from healthcare providers, insurers, pharmacies, data brokers, or public databases.
Purposes
Litlo collects and uses consumer health data to:
- save, organize, display, and synchronize the records you request;
- share records with caregivers you authorize;
- provide timelines, summaries, routines, widgets, reminders, and account support;
- structure transcript text from a user-initiated voice or Siri logging request;
- provide AI Chat responses when you choose to use AI Chat;
- protect accounts, investigate abuse, and maintain service reliability; and
- comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Collection and processing required to save and display a record are necessary to provide the feature you request. Optional AI Chat access to recent baby care records is controlled through Profile > Litlo AI.
Consumer health data Litlo may share
Depending on the feature you choose, Litlo may share:
- baby profile and care records with caregivers you authorize;
- an AI Chat message and the recent baby care records you choose to include with Google Gemini to generate a response;
- transcript text with Google Gemini when needed to structure a user-initiated Siri or voice-assisted record;
- private media and related identifiers with Litlo's hosting and object-storage providers;
- account, device, entitlement, and delivery information with Apple or Google when needed for sign-in, push notifications, Siri and system features, or App Store purchases; and
- limited information with advisors, authorities, or affected parties when required by law or reasonably necessary for safety, security, rights, or disputes.
Litlo requires processors and authorized personnel to use consumer health data only for the services they provide to Litlo and to protect its confidentiality.
No sale or advertising use
Litlo does not sell consumer health data. Litlo does not use consumer health data for targeted advertising, third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or training public AI models.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- confirm whether Litlo processes your consumer health data;
- request access to or a copy of that data;
- correct inaccurate account or baby-profile information;
- delete individual records, baby profiles, or your Litlo account using available in-app controls;
- request deletion of consumer health data by contacting Litlo;
- control whether recent baby care records are included in AI Chat through Profile > Litlo AI; and
- withdraw consent for optional processing by turning off the related setting or contacting Litlo.
Email support@litlo.app with the subject `Consumer Health Data Request`. Describe the account and request without including unnecessary sensitive details. Litlo may verify your identity and authority over the relevant baby profile.
If Litlo denies a request, you may appeal by replying to the decision email with the subject `Privacy Appeal`. You may also contact the attorney general in your state.
Retention and deletion
Litlo retains consumer health data only as reasonably needed to provide the service you request or for limited legal, safety, security, billing, moderation, dispute, and backup purposes described in the Privacy Policy. Account and record deletion initiate deletion or de-identification through Litlo's applicable service processes.
Changes
Litlo will update this Notice before collecting or using additional categories of consumer health data for materially different purposes when notice or consent is required.
